An alumnus of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas, Ne-Yo attended the A.D. Guy Boys & Girls Club which served the West Las Vegas community prior to the opening of the Andre Agassi Clubhouse in 1997. He says that the Club experience, and the staff, helped him develop into the man he is today.
He remembered his time in the Club’s basketball program where “the Club staff always got me in the game for at least 10 minutes, even though I was a little reluctant. It was quite a learning experience for me.”
He continues to give back to the Club through his Compound Foundation, which provided over 500 Las Vegas youth with bikes and MP3 Players through its Annual Giving Tour last year.
