Bricks 4 Kidz

July 20, 2012 by admin Leave a Comment

Bricks 4 Kidz came to our Lied location on Thursday, July 19 to show our kids a few things about Lego bricks. It was a great day of learning for the Lied Club kids. Bricks 4 Kidz taught our kids some of the basics of architecture and engineering.  The younger kids built a windmill and also learned a little bit about the uses of them. The older kids built a ferris wheel. The windmills and the ferris wheels were both able to actually spin on their own if assembled correctly! All the kids were given a set of specific Legos and a guide book to build with. They were split up in to groups of three or four, and eventually they all were able to complete their set! Thank You Bricks 4 Kidz!
